Housewares and Copper Penny Flowers to Host a Flower Arrangement Class

Household Goods has announced that Copper Penny Flowers will be hosting a virtual flower arranging class as a fundraiser to support Household Goods at 4 p.m. on March 27.

The cost is a $ 30 donation to Household Goods and Copper Penny Flowers owner Jennifer Eaton, who will demonstrate how to organize and secure a hand-tied elastic bouquet, ready to give as a gift or drop directly into a vase. Participants will work with fresh flowers such as roses, clematis, daffodils, parrot tulips, buttercups and sweet peas. Flowers can be purchased from Copper Penny Flowers for $ 60, in addition to the $ 30 registration, or attendees can plan to watch and learn.

A recording of the workshop will be available, so by registering viewers can still enjoy the demonstration.

“What a great way to welcome spring with this flower arrangement event,” said Sharon Martens, Executive Director of Household Goods. “We are so grateful to Jennifer for offering her skills and knowledge to create beautiful bouquets, while also helping household items provide individuals and families with the furniture and household items they need to make a home. »Registration closes on March 25th.
