Chelsea’s Best Florist Flower Arrangement Masterclass

Residents of CARE homes were treated to a virtual florist masterclass offered by a Chelsea master florist.

Michal Kowalski, from Blooming Haus in London, demonstrated his skills for the residents of Leeming Bar Grange care home in North Yorkshire.

Blooming Haus started out with a small pop-up boutique in Chelsea and has since blossomed into the florist scene as “floral engineers” – with a reputation as one of the most innovative floral design studios in the world. UK.

Residents and staff were invited to collect flowers and foliage of their own choosing and follow Michal’s demonstration to create their own displays.

Residents’ arrangements will enter a Facebook contest to win Love2Shop vouchers.

Michal said; “The care sector has been through such a difficult time lately, residents cannot see their loved ones and caregivers are working extremely hard. “So we jumped at the chance when Barchester approached us to organize a zoom flower arrangement class.

“This is a great opportunity for Blooming Haus to give something back, and we hope we have provided a little recreational relief to residents and caregivers.”

Home manager Michelle Keep said it was a “wonderful” experience for residents and staff.
